The brilliant 26 x 1 relay team performed brilliantly at the 2022 Jersey Marathon, beating their time of last year by a full half hour.

And what a team event it was. Congratulations to all the runners, wheelchair athletes, buddies, drivers, navigators, base station team, race control team, supporters and JSAD sponsors Canaccord. It was a fantastic effort to ensure all the runners completed the marathon course safely and in such a quick time.

Very special thanks in particular need to go to Jeannine Carey who was in overall command of this event.  Jeannine faced a number of difficulties in delivering this event due entirely to matters outside of her control and she met each of these challenges with a positive attitude, ensuring that all her hard work paid off.  Well done, Jeannine, and here’s to the Orange Army completing the 26 X 1 Relay at next year’s Jersey Marathon!
